Personal Experience

Divorce lawyer Brittney N. Green decided to practice family law, so she could have the opportunity to help guide and advocate for individuals through this demanding time in their life.
Family law allows her the opportunity to do something good that will help her client’s future. “As soon as I began working in family law, I knew it was my calling because it felt good helping my clients,” Ms. Green said. “Family law is very interesting because each client’s situation is different and certainly not an area where one size fits all.”
Practicing family law gives Ms. Green a great sense of pleasure to be able to help her clients through this demanding time in their lives and hopefully let them see that there is a light at the end of this stressful process. “Family law is a challenging area of the law, and it is very rewarding,” she said. “It’s a privilege to assist clients on their life journey when they need it most.”
As a practicing attorney, Ms. Green wants to inspire people to be great while she aspires to be a better person than the day before.“I strive to help people who need my help, be a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to,” she said. “I want my clients to be able to speak to me about anything and not be afraid to ask questions. I want my clients to be well-informed, so they can feel confident and know what to expect while navigating through this process.”

Ms. Green’s primary practice is focused in the area of family law. She also has experience representing clients in child support establishment, contempt, and modification matters. She served as an associate attorney for the Special Assistant Attorney General for Fulton, Cherokee, and Forsyth counties and litigated matters concerning child support establishment and enforcement, while also regularly attending hearings in the Office of State Administrative Hearings court.
